The 4 year old mare Ready To Lift a half sister to Gr2 winners Rizon and Doft wins at Rosehill and has now won 3 from 11 race starts. Bred on Trevannah the filly was purchased by Gerald Ryan for $120,000 at the Melbourne Ready To Run sales. Given her type I retained a 25% interest to stay with the family which is quite exceptional .
The 2yo Reset half sister to Ready To Lift is about to start pre training and will also be trained by Gerald Ryan . This filly I retained given that it is the last foal of On The Rise and with that pedigree her value is guaranteed on retirement from racing. 
Terry Lillis for whom I purchased the stallion Iglesia has been a strong supporter with a number of well bred mares resident at Trevannah. Among these is the very smart race mare Lodore Magic the dam of Sonic Quest Gr2 winner and the exciting 2yo by Redoutes Choice in Lodore Falls both trainer by Lee Freedman. We are delighted to have the professional services of Melissa Jordan who joins Trevannah to bring her horse husbandry skills and expertise to all levels including the preparation of our yearlings for the 2008 sales. Melissa has extensive experience working in the U.K and Ireland preparing yearlings and in Australia as yearling manager at Torryburn Stud. |
